Reporting to the Head Coach, Women’s Soccer, the Assistant Coach will assist in the coaching, teaching, recruiting, organization, and planning of all practices and games for the women’s soccer program.
This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours.
Assists in skill instruction and student-athlete development both on and off the field.
Coordinates, identifies, evaluates, and recruits quality student-athletes in compliance with University, Atlantic 10, and NCAA regulations and policies.
Assists the head coach with administrative operations as needed.
Complies with all NCAA, Atlantic 10, and University rules and regulations.

Attends fundraising and community service events upon request to support the program
Operates University-owned or leased vehicles to transport students, staff, and/or equipment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and insurance requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year experience as a soccer coach or student-athlete or an equivalent combination of education and experience
High level organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Understanding of video technology, game breakdown and social media.
Working knowledge of PC & Mac computer applications.
Understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Coaching experience in an NCAA program.
Valid Driver’s License.
