The University of Arizona invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach, Women’s Soccer. The position reports to the Head Coach, Women’s Soccer and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA. Incumbent will perform on-field coaching, recruiting and liaison with department support services.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Assist head coach with facilitating the academic and athletic development of every soccer student-athlete
Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes within the guidelines of the Conference and the NCAA
Train non-travel team when not on travel status
Implement individual development plans (IDP’s)
Coaching student-athletes at all practices and games
Running split training sessions at home
Work cooperatively and provide positive energy as a member of the staff
Recruit qualified student-athletes
Coordinate and advance recruiting, alumni, and community relations
Perform video analysis and opponent scouting
Work closely with the compliance office to assure the program follows University, Conference and NCAA regulations
Additional duties as assigned

Possess a working knowledge of NCAA, Conference and University of Arizona rules
Ability to problem solve and make decisions

Meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
Bachelor’s Degree
Coaching experience at the college or club level
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy .
Experience and knowledge of NCAA rules
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and travel as needed
Master’s Degree
Proven track record of success in the sport
Coaching licenses (USSF, NSCAA, UEFA, FA)
Practical experience in video analysis and Sportscode/Hudl

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
