The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and train the Weber State goalkeeper group of student athletes. Additionally the position is required to assist the Head Coach in the management and administration of the duties and responsibilities of a Division I Intercollegiate Soccer Program. Those duties include assisting in recruiting, preparation of student-athletes for competition, practice and game strategy preparation, ensuring the academic success of student-athletes, representing the University at soccer related clinics, camps and events, and engaging in public relations activities within the community. All coaches are required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Weber State University, Big Sky Conference, and the NCAA. Weber State University (WSU) is a member of the NCAA at the Division I (FCS) level. In accordance with the principles of NCAA rules compliance, it is understood that any employee who is found in violation of NCAA regulations shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for significant or repetitive violations.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree Goalkeeping Coach Experience
Preferred: 4 years coaching experience at professional, college, or elite soccer club level Played soccer professionally or college level as a goalkeeper
