This is a full-time calendar year position limited to June 28, 2025 with anticipated renewal. | | Job Description Summary |

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the head coach, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes; training and development of players; scouting; team travel arrangements; scheduling; promotions and marketing; fund-raising projects; and summer camps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes.

Assist in the training and development of players; scouting; and team travel arrangements.

Assist in scheduling, promotions, marketing, fund-raising projects, and summer camps.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned.

LICENSES, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

NCAA Rules Certification Certificate; personal computers and printers; word processing, database management and spreadsheet software.

REQUIRED:

1. Bachelor’s degree.

2. Demonstrated volleyball coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level.

3. Demonstrated organizational skills.

4. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

5. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.

6. Demonstrated leadership skills.

7. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.

8. Demonstrated ability to adhere to University, NCAA, and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations.

9. Appointment subject to NCAA violation report clearance.

PREFERRED:

1.Demonstrated volleyball coaching and/or collegiate playing experience at the NCAA Division I level.

1. Demonstrated experience recruiting student athletes.
