Drake University is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. The assistant coach will be assisting the head volleyball coach with planning and execution of all aspects of the volleyball program. This full-time position will include recruiting coordination, operations planning, and assist in compliance coordination. This is a 10- month position (August - May).

All of the duties assigned to this position require an understanding of and compliance with the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and Drake University.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor degrees
• 1-3 years of experience
Job Duties:
50% - Assist in the development of practice planning and coaching of student-athletes. Monitor and track student-athlete performance during practice. - (Essential)
20% - Recruiting Coordinator: facilitate and organize the recruitment and retention of student athletes who reflect Drake’s commitment to academic and athletic excellence. - (Essential)
20% - Coordinate the operational elements of the program, including but not limited to team travel, special events, community service, equipment, etc. Perform other duties, as assigned. - (Essential)
10% - Assist with NCAA Compliance elements, monitoring and reporting CARA and RARA hours and practice seasons. - (Essential)
