The position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in program building. Will assist in teaching, recruiting, and mentoring student-athletes.

Assists the Head Coach in managing and directing the womenâs lacrosse program.
Manage all aspects of recruiting including evaluating potential athletes, setting up campus visits, collaborating with the Admissions Department, maintaining accurate records on Front Rush and databases on the NCAAâs Compliance Assistant program.
Ensure Student-Athletes receive the necessary equipment and gear to excel both during competition and training.
Off Season/In Season Player Development Plan including but not limited to leadership training, strength, and conditioning programs.
Monitor academic progress of student-athletes with meetings and classroom checks.
Practice/Competition Planning and Management. Staff member must also model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
Organize Air/Hotel/Vehicle Travel Arrangements and Liability.
Staff member is responsible for the monitoring of facilities for the purposes of safety and security. Coachesâ supervision is to prevent any activity that is dangerous to a student-athlete or other students.
Organizes and completes all required documentation including but not limited check requests, purchase orders and Compliance forms.
Staff member is responsible to adhere to budget, assist in fundraising efforts, and practice stewardship with University Credit Card.
Works cooperatively with personnel in the athletics and admissions department, attends meetings and activities, and always represents the University positively when interacting with the faculty, community, alumni, high school and club coaches, media and general public.
Employee must be able to be physically able to assist in facility management and be an active participant during on field activities.
Employee time commitment includes traditional workday with additional time required for practice and competition including but not limited to extended weekends and nights. Significant travel for recruiting, as well as with the team for road games.
Employee is required to work indoors and outdoors, during both hot and cold weather.
Employee must be accessible to student-athletes in case of emergency, or if needed.
Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree highly preferred. Previous coaching and/or competitive experience at the collegiate level, proven experience in both fundraising and social media, a valid driverâs license, and knowledge of NCAA DIII rules and regulations.
