Job Description

Aquinas College, a member of the NAIA and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), is seeking an assistant women’s soccer coach, who will also serve as the Reserve Head Coach while also being responsible for aid and support of the Head Women’s Coach. The ideal candidate will uphold and promote the mission of Aquinas College while assisting in building a competitive and academically successful women’s soccer program rooted in integrity, leadership, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist the Head Women’s Coach in all aspects of the women’s soccer program, including coaching, recruitment, player development, game preparation, and in-game strategy.

● Serve as the Head Women’s Reserve Soccer Coach

● Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in meeting the required roster numbers on both the varsity and reserve teams by recruiting and retaining student-athletes who align with the values and academic standards of Aquinas College.

● Foster a positive team culture within both the varsity and reserve team that emphasizes personal development, academic achievement, sportsmanship, and service.

● Assist with the coordination of scheduling of practices, games, and team travel in compliance with college and conference guidelines.

● Ensure compliance with NAIA, WHAC, and institutional rules and regulations.

● Assist in the coordination of community outreach and contribute to departmental fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives.
