What we want

The Assistant Coordinator for NIL will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Assistant Athletic Director of NIL. The Assistant Coordinator will gain experience in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) administration, programming and marketing of the NIL program at TAMU. In addition to NIL responsibilities, they will gain a deeper understanding of athletics department structure and operations.

Salary range: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.

Position Details: Some nights and weekends may be required.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience

• One year of experience at an NCAA institution in student-athlete development, marketing, operations (or equivalent) department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with coaches, supervisors, and/or peers

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in business, sports management, higher education, student affairs, or related fields

• Current or former student-athlete experience

• Adobe Suite

• Proficient social media and content creation skills

Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support for NIL Unit - Schedule and develop team workshops, recruiting presentations, and additional meetings on behalf of the NIL Unit. Support all members of the NIL Unit and stakeholders, by ensuring deadlines are being met and timelines are followed. Communicate with the task force and external partners via both written and verbal communication.

• Administrative support for Assistant Athletic Director of NIL - Provide administrative support for Assistant Athletic Director of NIL including but not limited to managing calendar appointments, creating presentations, marketing material, analyzing NIL data, organizing files, communicating with internal and external partners, and attending meetings.

• Compliance - Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
