Athletic Communications
Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of collegiate or professional-level videography experience.
The department is especially interested in candidates who have experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Screening will begin immediately until a candidate has been selected.
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Must be able to work a non-standard work week when necessary, which may includenights, weekends, holidays, and traveling with the team(s).

This position supervises interns and student employees.
Skilled in shooting/editing video and motion graphic design.
Skilled in video shoot setup including lighting and production techniques.
Detailed knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of social media platforms and their various video content guidelines and current trends.
Experience with Sony/Canon video cameras and DSLRs.
Must be able to comply with all Department, University, Board of Trustees, Athletic Conference, and
NCAA
policies and procedures.

Job Duties
| Duties & Responsibilities |
Creates video content and motion graphics for use on the athletic department’s social media, website, and arena video boards. The position will work with all sports including football, men’s and women’s basketball with a primary and secondary sport responsibility to be determined. The content will include hype videos, athlete features, promotional/marketing materials, and paid elements designed to engage fans, recruits, stakeholders, and sponsors. In addition, this position will keep up with current trends in athletic digital content production and distribution.

Duties include videoing footage for projects as needed for Athletics Development, TigerSports Properties, the University of Memphis Athletics for Diversity & Equality (UMADE), overseeing all phases of each project, and videos of various athletic events.
