Reporting to the Director of Athletics Photography, the individual selected will provide photographic services for Auburn Athletics and serves as a key member of the external
engagement team.

Assists the Director of Photography to provide photographic coverage for athletic competitions, special events and recruiting; determines camera equipment needs and settings, lighting requirements, and other specifications to ensure quality photography. Produce shot lists for game days.
Collaborates with other members of the Auburn Athletics External Relations team, including Communications, Marketing and Fan Experience, War Eagle Productions, War Eagle Creative, Digital Strategy and Auburn Sports Properties to assist in increasing reach, engagement, and driving revenue to Auburn Athletics
Assist in maintaining a comprehensive Photoshelter library and effectively labeling and archiving all images.
Assist in planning and executing team asset and promotional shoots and the creation of electronic promotional material.
Assists the athletic department graphic design team with content and graphic creation to elevate the Auburn Athletics brand.
Provides up to date images of current student-athletes to assist with branding through name, image, and likeness (
NIL
). Plans and executes team promotional shoots.
Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (
NCAA
) and Southeastern Conference (
SEC
) regulations in the performance of job duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in photography, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
Level I- Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience providing photographic services
Level II- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience providing photographic services |

- One year experience at the NCAA or professional sport level
- Experience with Photoshelter/Libris and INFLCR, or similar platforms
- Extensive experience using PhotoMechanic and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions
- Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support projects
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated, results-oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects
- Creativity and artistic judgment
- Reliability and ability to meet deadlines
- Unique creative eye for shooting game and event photography, as well as capturing emotion within other aspects of game prep
- Ability to not only shoot, but also think through the lens of a creative storyteller while shooting
- Extensive knowledge of photography techniques, principles and equipment
- Knowledge of basic studio and on-location lighting techniques, principles and equipment
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
