*Planning, organization and evaluation of the Club Sports programs In Athletics
*Substantial contribution to the annual objectives, metrics and methodologies
*Implementation, oversight and/or direct involvement with specific department support programs
*Maintain NCAA and league compliance requirements

Supervision
*Primary oversight includes Graduate Assistant, Intern, Wage, Work Study and/or Volunteer
*Functional responsibilities include: performance appraisals, program reviews, periodic progress assessments and professional mentoring
*Conduct position searches, interview and make recommendations regarding hiring or dismissal decisions

Management
*Revenue generation strategies with a focus on fundraising for the non-varsity sports (clubs, intramurals, recreation sports and the Fitness Center and programming)
*Financial management includes direct oversight (including signature authority and approving financial transactions) for a defined set of departmental indexes in a specific area of responsibility
*Budget preparation
*Daily decision-making on spending
*Monthly status reporting
*Periodic budget and resource analysis
*Prioritizes resource decisions and strategies within a specific area of responsibility
*Contributes to departmental resource assessment and prioritization process
*Manage daily decisions about the allocation of time, resources and talents to program initiatives
*Some managerial activities are extensive problem identification, problem solving and problem avoidance

*Promotes and reinforces the institutional and departmental mission, vision, values and priorities within and beyond the Department staff, including public audiences

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree preferred
One to three years of related work experience
Experience planning and organizing Club Sports
Great management and leadership skills
Experience developing and overseeing departmental budgets
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
