Job Summary

In collaboration with the academic support services team, this position is responsible for offering guidance and support in various academic areas. The role involves providing intensive advisement to assigned students covering all aspects of academic support. Key responsibilities include coordinating study hall, monitoring grades, tracking progress towards degree, providing mentioning, and assisting in the monitoring of eligibly records for student-athletes.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Four years of related experience, preferably in sports administration/coaching, academic advising, related student services or education.
• Ability to plan and organize work; organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; verbal and written communications skills; ability to read, interpret, instruct, and effectively communicate complex rules and regulations.
• Ability to meet established deadlines, ability to effectively communicate with coaches, administrators, student-athletes, parents, faculty and staff; personal computer skills including related database, word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, communicate, and adhere to University, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, rules, and ‎regulations.
