Assistant Director, Parking and Ticket Operations. Reports equally to Senior Associate AD for Tickets and Associate Director of Parking. Position will participate in key financial details of both operations, such as event monies reconciliation. Position is responsible for various other customer facing positions on ticket ops and parking distribution and fulfillment. Will participate and contribute to ticket system input of parking for revenue sports (football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball) along with some ticketing functions for a non-revenue sport (Softball) up to but not limited to season, single, post-season, ancillary ticketed events. Other responsibilities to include managing athletics home event and special event parking operations, serve as on-site parking event manager, develop athletic and special event parking operations policies, procedures, and employee handbooks for working staff. The position will serve as liaison between outside partners (Shuttle Operations, ParkHub). The position is responsible for training of various other customer-facing positions on payment plans, ticket ops, parking distribution and fulfillment. | Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Experience working in Division 1-A Athletics ticketing is preferred. Knowledge of Archtics ticketing system is strongly preferred. Excel/Word and all other Microsoft suite skills strongly preferred.

Ability to learn various business skills related to accounting, problem solving, analytical thinking. Organized and thorough with attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to communicate effectively in person, on telephone and in writing. Understanding /working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer service capabilities and ability to have professional demeanor at all times.

Serve as a customer service representative for the Athletic Parking Operations Office. Work and coordinate with the Gamecock Club and Athletics Ticketing to determine parking eligibilities and priorities. Implement athletic and special event parking operations manuals, handbooks, and policies for working staff as it pertains to event operations. Contribute to all athletics and special event parking operations. Serve as on-site parking event manager for home athletics and special events as assigned. Assist customers with questions concerning tickets and parking for events. This may include phone calls, chat, email, or any other numerous ways customers reach the Athletic Department.
