The University of South Dakota is accepting applications in the Athletic Department for the position of Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, a full-time, 12-month position that reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Communications.

The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications is responsible for promoting and supporting South Dakota’s 18

NCAA

Division I programs. Duties include writing press releases, contributing to the athletic department website, GoYotes.com, producing game programs and game notes ahead of events, updating media guides and record books, scoring home basketball events using Genius Sports software, working select away events, facilitating social media in line with department goals, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred, and a minimum two years of experience in a college sports information office

• Proficiency in a variety of software applications including InDesign, Photoshop, and

• Experience in working with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
