The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications will assist the Director of Athletic Communications with the promotion and publicity of the college’s Athletic Department. This person is expected to affirm, model, and cultivate the Christ-centered mission of Montreat College and the Athletic Department. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications is also required to consistently and professionally serve the department and institution by means of accurate and timely communication with all Athletic Department stakeholders through a variety of outlets, while complying with all rules and regulations set forth by the NAIA, AAC, and Montreat College.
The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications will assist the Director of Athletic Communications with the promotion and publicity of the college’s Athletic Department. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communication is a full-time, benefitted 10-month position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Successful candidate will affirm and support the Mission, Vision, and Statement of Faith of Montreat College.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required; extra consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience working in an athletic communications or sports information department.
