Reporting to the Director of Athletics, Wesleyan is seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Director of Athletic Operations to manage the day-to-day operations of our athletics department, overseeing the promotion, communication, and operational tasks for a variety of sports programs, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, cross country, and track and field.

The ideal candidate will handle the athletic operations, including game-day preparations, staff coordination, equipment management, statistics, and more. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

• Experience in sports information, athletics operations, and/or media relations (preferably in a collegiate setting).

• Proficiency in sports statistics software (e.g., StatCrew, PrestoSports, etc.).

• Experience with video streaming platforms and digital media management.

• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with NCAA regulations and compliance is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs) and assist with game-day setup and breakdown.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the athletic event schedule.
