Monmouth University is seeking applications for a full time Assistant Director of Athletic Performance in the Department of Athletics.The candidate would be expected to: create in-season and off-season training programs, as well as take-home training manuals when necessary; daily upkeep of the University varsity weight room including, but not limited to, equipment set-up and break-down before and after training sessions; design and implement scientifically-supported speed, strength, flexibility and conditioning programs to assigned athletics teams; provide assistance during training sessions for other members of the University strength and conditioning staff when necessary.A complete list of job duties is available at http://jobs.monmouth.edu.This is an in-person, on-campus; non-remote position.
This is a full-time, 52 week position.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Bachelor's degree
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) OR Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) by date of employment.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) current certifications by date of employment.
Participation in collegiate athletics. Experience coaching strength and conditioning at the collegiate or professional level.
