Felician University is presently seeking a creative, high-energy, organized, and detail-oriented communications professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. The Assistant Director supports and collaborates with the Director of Athletics Communications members of the media, the NCAA, alumni, and members of the public who have an interest in the day-to-day management of all aspects for the Sports Information Department, including but not limited to: social media, maintenance of the athletics website, game-day statistics and media days.

Required Education:
BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Athletics or related field, Master’s degree preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in athletics, preferably in an institution of higher education; strong verbal and written communications skills; well-developed knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Creative Suite; detail-oriented; excellent physical condition, with the ability to lift 50 pounds; ability and willingness to work a flexible scheduled including evenings and weekends; demonstrated ability to work with students and colleagues of diverse background and experience levels; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
