Facilities Operations
Manage the schedule for all athletic facilities and fields for internal and external groups
Oversee the security policies and procedures for all athletic facilities
Develop and manage all facilities' hours of operation
Working with Campus Operations, ensuring the fields and facilities are maintained and prepared forall athletic contests
Coordinates with the office of summer programs to manage the use of sports facilities by thecampus on campus
Work with the Associate AD for Finance in preparing the department’s regular budget, includingPhysical Education, Orr Rink, and Fitness Center
Partner with the AD on capital projects and facility upgrades
Hire, train and superviseFront Desk Monitors
Work towards an intentionally inclusive culture
Oversee department van’s usage and maintenance
Athletic Programs
Oversee Intramural Sports programming
Manage and assign all game managers for varsity sports
Oversee home game day logistics (locker room assignments, parking, tailgating, Campus Police,etc.)
Hire, train and supervise a diverse set of student employees for game management
Management of Front Desk
Hire, train and supervise Front Desk Monitors
Work towards an intentionally inclusive culture
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree
Three years of experience with increasing responsibility in an intercollegiate athletic environment, orcollege/university community, or a combination of related experience in an organization of similarscope
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
Demonstrated time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience working with a diverse community
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
Successful completion of pre-employment physical and lift test
Preferred
Master's Degree
1-3 years of experience with game operations
Experience supervising a diverse group of students
Experience in scheduling staff to work events
