· Teach Basic Conducting class (music education & performance majors)
· Teach Marching Band Techniques (instrumental music education majors)
· Assist with coordinating events sponsored by UA Bands and in support of the School of Music ·
Additional duties as assigned according to needs in the School of Music
Date of Appointment: A 9-month salary plus an additional tenth-month stipend beginning August 1, 2024.
Required Qualifications: Master of Music. Demonstrated experience as a conductor/educator, including evidence of successful concert and marching band programming, instruction, and performance, as well as marching band drill design. Preferred Qualifications: DMA, Ph.D., or ABD. Demonstrated experience as a conductor/educator at the college/university level, including comprehensive knowledge of Pyware Drill Design software and marching band arranging experience.

The compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
