Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyze and reconcile fund accounts, expense and credit card reports, special projects, or tasks to ensure appropriate entries are made and monitor the account balances.
Identify, gather, and organize information from a variety of sources to establish unified data sets for use in analyzing and identifying existing and emerging trends.
Maintain financial records for department funds, following University and departmental policies and procedures, and maintain all documentation and records to meet audit requirements.
Execute necessary payroll and accounting adjustments in the Workday financials system.
Assist with some contracts and upkeep the contracts database along with necessary purchase orders.
Serve as point of contact for athletics camps financial operations.
Partner with the sports medicine insurance billing team to reconcile necessary charges for student athletes and the department.
Analyze current athletics business, ticket and information technology trends and data while performing the monthly ticket sales reconciliation.
Collaborate with Payroll and HR on necessary processing of annual taxable benefits for those receiving taxable benefits.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: At least two years of experience. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Licensure: None
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday ERP financials system.
Anticipated Hiring Range
$45,000 - $48,000, dependent upon qualifications. The selected candidate will pass a background check. This is a full-time position with UVa benefits. Employees benefits package highlights include:

Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
