Job Description
Manages day-to-day varsity sports communications during the fall, winter and spring seasons that include writing game stories, press releases, maintaining website information and statistics related to teams, and supervising student staff at home events.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Writing game stories, press releases, maintaining website information and statistics related to teams
Using the latest statistical software to provide in-game and post-game data
Assist with webcasting home events and other special events as needed
Assist in creating materials for end of year celebration and annual reports
Contributions to social media content as well as training for student-athletes, coaches, and staff
Performance Profile
High attention to detail, reliability and timeliness, especially as related to athletic events and home contests.
Ability to problem solve and adjust as time and weather constraints dictate.
