| Position Summary |
The Assistant Director is responsible for off-the-field activities of student athletes, including but not limited to providing advice and counsel related to life skills, academic success, personal development, and community involvement; assist with Leadership Council; serve as liaison to high school coaches and GHSA; provide leadership and support for the Mentor Program, PO Network, Letterman Relations, and other programs related to student-athlete wellness. The Assistant Director will also aid the football coaching staff in on campus recruiting including but not limited to providing tours, producing and conducting presentations and enhancing the relationship building process between coaches and their guests. Additionally, the assistant director is responsible for providing occasional on campus transportation to student athletes as needed. The Assistant Director will coordinate meetings with the academic staff and football staff.

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
Ability to communicate and organize schedules. Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed. Understand computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Willingness to work nights and/or weekends and holidays.

The employee will regularly stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms/hands. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions. Driving as needed to perform job duties.
