| Position Summary |
The Assistant Director of Player Development is responsible for off-the-field activities of student athletes, including but not limited to providing advice and counsel related to life skills, academic success, personal development, and community involvement; oversee Leadership Council; serve as liaison to high school coaches and GHSA; provide leadership and support for the Mentor Program, PO Network, Letterman Relations, and other programs related to student-athlete wellness.
This individual will also aid the football coaching staff in on campus recruiting, including but not limited to providing tours, producing and conducting presentations and enhancing the relationship building process between coaches and their guests. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Player Development is responsible for providing occasional on-campus transportation to student athletes as needed and will coordinate meetings with the academic staff and football staff.

- Familiarized and compliant with NCAA and SEC rules.
- Ability to communicate and organize schedules.
- Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed.
- Understand computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to work nights and/or weekends and holidays.
