Assistant Director of Speed, Strength & ConditioningCoastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Director of Speed, Strength & Conditioning in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Coastal Carolina is a NCAA Division I Institution and a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Interested applicants should be passionate about the ability to work in a dynamic environment that serves the student-athletes well-being and being part of a Sports Performance team. Duties include, but are not limited to:· Perform duties associated with maintenance and oversight of Watson S&C facility.· Provide nutritional education resources to individual student-athletes and teams as directed.· Comply with policies, procedures and the University’s Code of Ethical Conduct.· Participate in all mandatory trainings as deemed necessary by Coastal Carolina University’s administration.· Report any potential Title IX and/or Minors on Campus policy violations.· Educate and mentor temp-staff members, student interns, and student volunteers as directed.· Educate student-athletes in area of strength and conditioning as assigned to include, but not limited to: design and implement strength and conditioning programs; provide instruction on proper lifting techniques for injury prevention. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidate must maintain and provide proof of appropriate NSCA and/or CSCCa and CPR certification.Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach.
