Alabama State University, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, invites applications to fill the role of Assistant Director of Sports Medicine/Head Football Athletic Trainer. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Department of Sports Medicine in practice and game coverage, assisting in the daily operations of the athletic training room, and providing multifaceted healthcare for the Football sports program. This position reports to the Director of Sports Medicine.

This position reports to the Director of Sports Medicine.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Master's degree in athletic training, exercise science, or closely related field, 4 years of post-baccalaureate athletic training experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, NATAB0C Athletic Trainer certification, eligible for Alabama state licensure, current First Aid and CPR/AE0 certifications, knowledge of NCAA and SWAC rules and regulations, valid U.S. Driver's License with an insurable driving record, and be able to travel and work nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
