Summary of Job Duties: The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations will independently engage, interact, and correspond with existing/potential donors and season ticket holders on issues such as seating (including priority seating), parking allocation, adjustments, and other related issues, all with the goal of cultivating ticket-related sales. This position not only involves overseeing ticket sales, but also managing ticket inventory, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors, and ensuring a smooth and efficient ticketing experience for customers. The Assistant Director will serve as primary ticket office liaison for Baseball amongst other assigned sports as liaison with customers as it relates to annual renewals, ticket allocation, and oversight of ticket distribution. This position will require travel with sports as needed and is designated as weather/event essential.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least one year of ticket operations or ticket sales experience
Experience with customer service operations related to ticketing, including addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field
Experience with Paciolan ticketing software to manage ticket sales and inventory
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge of and compliance with specific NCAA, SEC, and institution rules that relate to this position
Excellent communication skills and clearly communicate project goals to all members of the ticket office and external division
Proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Ability to work and interact with staff, faculty, and student-athletes
Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed
Ability to travel to away sporting events as needed
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
