Assist head coach with highly competitive, Division I Track & Field Program in the SEC; assist with administration as it relates to recruiting, budgets, traveling, public relations, fund-raising camps and clinics; organizing and conducting practices and competitions, administering and promoting all phases of the Track & Field Program. Incumbent will also be responsible for an array of team duties, events, travel arrangements, external logistics, and creative services pertaining to the sport of Track and Field and Cross Country. | | Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |

Assist Associate Head Cross Country Coach in evaluating and recruiting qualified student-athletes to the University of Georgia whose athletic and personal skills make them highly competitive in the SEC and nationally, and whose academic potential makes them good candidates for a meaningful academic experience and graduation at the University of Georgia; coordinating recruiting travel and visit itineraries. | | Percentage of time | 40 |

• Provide assistance to the Head Track & Field/XC Coach in assigned areas of the program.
• Manage day-to-day external administrative operations and logistical support of the program.
• Serve as the primary staff member responsible for implementing effective external. communication and scheduling system for coaches, student-athletes and staff utilizing new and existing technologies (Teamworks).
• Serve as liaison to the ticket office, Marketing & Promotions, Event Management & Facilities and Development Offices.
• Coordinate all alumni relations outreach and programming for the program.
• Create Newsletter for updates to Alumni & Parents for SEC, NCAA, Championship competitions. | | Percentage of time | 25 |
