Job Duties

The Assistant Foot Coach will be responsible for:

Assisting the Head Coach with the overall supervision, organization, development and implementation of Morgan’s Division I Football Program

Recruiting and scouting qualified student-athletes for the Football Team

Conducting meetings with student-athletes and staff

Providing guidance and strategy to staff and student-athletes during competitions

Monitoring the academic progress and pursuits of student athletes

Assisting with administrative tasks for the Athletic Program

Performing other duties as assigned

Requested Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited College or University. At least three (3) years of experience working for a college-level Football Program is required.

Other Preferences for Consideration

Preference will be given to candidates with at least three (3) years of previous coaching experience at the College level is preferred; Candidates must have extensive,detailed knowledge of college football; knowledge of

NCAA

and institutional policies and regulations is required.
