Position Overview:

Mount Marty University is pleased to accept applicants for an Assistant Football Coach. This is an exempt, full-time position and must adhere to the

regulations stipulated in the Mount Marty University Handbook. The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in program organization, practice and competition preparation, and recruitment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to foster a team culture that is both disciplined and caring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coaching (50%)

• Recruiting (30%)

• Administration (20%)

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Minimum of three years of coaching and recruiting experience

• Active First Aid/CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and must complete online NAIA Champions of Character Character-Driven Coaches course

• Demonstrate teamwork, team building and organizational skills

• Commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University
