Position Description
Valley City State University is searching for an Assistant Football Coach. This position is responsible for supporting the Head Coach by coaching student athletes, recruiting, monitoring student athlete academic progress, scheduling, and overseeing the discipline, conduct, and image of the student athlete. This is a professional coaching position and all of the duties must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of affiliated national, regional, and state intercollegiate athletic associations, the Frontier Conference and the University.  

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Master’s degree, 2 years of coaching at the college level or above, and a valid driver’s license. Candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal, and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, and be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with offensive line experience at the NAIA level.

Compensation
$32,000-$38,000 annually and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
