Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head Coach, The Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Lines Coach provides assistance to the Head Coach in order to run a successful athletics program. The Assistant Head Coach mentors student athletes to help them reach their full potential on and off the field; helps build a program that the University, students, alumni, and community can be proud of. This position will assist in the recruiting of potential student athletes and provide complementary management of the program including practice, competitions, travel, purchasing and other duties as assigned. The Assistant Head Coach will adhere to institutional, conference, and all other required regulations and policies. The Assistant Head Coach assists all aspects of recruiting potential student athletes in order to maintain a team that will compete. The Assistant Head Coach maintains knowledge of all institutional and Conference rules and regulations for recruiting. The Assistant Head Coach assists in the overall management of the programs as directed by the head coach (travel, practice, competition, etc.) but will have specific responsibilities in athletics also as directed by the Head Coach.
