Athletics is a dynamic team of student-athletes, coaches and administrators with a vision to demonstrate unprecedented excellence in athletics, academics and student-athlete development. Our championship culture provides a foundation for our students to grow as a person, student and athlete.
This position reports to the Head Football Coach. Responsible to the head coach for providing coaching expertise and leadership of the intercollegiate athletics program; assisting the head coach in the effective management and administration of all aspects relating to a positive and beneficial intercollegiate experience for student-athletes, and other administrative duties.
Teaching and coaching student-athletes to develop and acquire the tactical, technical and physical knowledge required to be a competitive Division I intercollegiate level student-athlete. Responsible for skill instruction during individual and team practices.
Talent assessment and recruiting. Assists in conducting a successful recruiting program to identify and cultivate outstanding student- athletes to Ohio University.
Ensure the football program, including staff members and student-athletes, is in compliance with
NCAA
, Mid-American Conference, and Ohio University regulations.
Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of one (1) year of collegiate coaching experience required.
