Assistant Football Coach- Intern

North Carolina Wesleyan University, a DIII liberal arts university located in Rocky Mount, NC, invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach Intern.  This is a full-time, ten-month position.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to player development, recruiting, NCAA and USA South rules and regulations, compliance, administrative duties, assisting the Head Coach in the daily operations of the program which include, assisting with practices, game planning, and assisting with teaching skills and strategy of the game.  This is a live-in position that will assist with providing support and coverage in our residence halls.  Room and board will be provided.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of two years of coaching or playing experience at the University level
• Ability to recruit and evaluate talent
• Strong organizational and public relations skills
• Other duties as assigned by Head Football Coach and Director of Athletics
