• Assisting the head football coach in the coordination and supervision of the football program, planning practices, designing and implementing football strategies and techniques, scouting opponents, and recruiting
• The individual must communicate effectively with others, including but not limited too, prospective student-athletes, parents, boosters, other coaches, support staff, campus departments, and administration
• Specific responsibilities include leading, coaching, and supervising the inside and outside linebackers
• The successful candidate must embrace the academic rigor and mission of the University by recruiting high achieving student-athletes
• They must be able to demonstrate excellence within their own career
• This person will be added to a talented coaching staff comprised of positive, enthusiastic coaches who have the skill set to build S&T football into a nationally ranked Division II program.
• This position is responsible for the assurance that all assigned activities are operated in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations at the institutional and in the GLVC and NCAA.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience at an NCAA Division II football program.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $30,000-31,800 annually.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
