The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for a full-time Assistant Football Coach/QB Coach/Pass Game Coordinator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Head Football Coach in the organization and administration of all phases of a Division I FBS program including game preparation and the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes.
• Assist in monitoring academic progress and development of student-athletes.
• Community involvement.
• Other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree; 1-2 years’ experience as a football coach at the collegiate FBS, FCS, or NFL within the past 10 years.
2. Working knowledge of the correct application of NCAA regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Collegiate coaching experience at the Division I level.
2. Previous experience as a quarterbacks coach.
3. Possesses coaching and student-athlete development philosophies consistent with that of the Division of Athletics and its football program.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding.
