The University of Miami is hiring for an Assistant Football Dietitian. This position will report directly to the Director of Football Nutrition and work within the nutrition team to educate student-athletes on appropriate nutrition for optimal health and elite athletic performance. Furthermore, this position will provide education, guidance, and expertise in health and nutrition to our student athletes.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS                                                                                                           

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively participate as a member of the University of Miami Sports Nutrition staff

  • Oversee the daily operations and logistics, as they relate to football

  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Football Nutrition, to oversee meal ordering and menu development

  • Conducts individual consultations with football athletes

  • Creates and provides team education talks including visual and verbal educations

  • Screens supplements for safe use due to NCAA guidelines

  • Conducts and analyses body composition testing via inbody scans
