This position is responsible for implementation of department, University, NCAA policies and guidelines. Responsible for operations of Nutrition Center and assigned Fueling Stations as well as assisting in individual consultations with football athletes.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assist the Football Nutritionist in overseeing the daily operations and logistics, as they relate to football nutrition.
Assist in overseeing meal ordering and menu development.
Assist in conducting individual consultations with football athletes.
Screens supplements for safe use due to NCAA guidelines.
Assist in conducting and analyzing body composition testing via inBody scans.
Assist in working in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to oversee the budget.
Work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to procure vendors and to maintain relationships/communications with the vendors.
Manage and supervise all aspects of operations of Nutrition Center and assigned Fueling Stations, including managing student-volunteers/interns/work study, product inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution in conjunction with the Football Nutrition Fellow.
Maintain effective communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, strength staff, and other individuals from the Athletic Department on any nutrition-related matter.
Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
