Job Description

Wilkes University invites applicants for a full-time Assistant Men's Wrestling Coach in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position supports the men's wrestling program by overseeing all aspects of team operations and ensuring compliance with NCAA Division III, conference, and institutional guidelines.

The successful candidate is responsible for recruiting prospective student-athletes; planning and conducting practices and competitions; supporting student-athlete development and retention; supervising part-time assistant coaches and interns; monitoring academic progress; and assisting with additional departmental responsibilities as assigned.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in sports management, education, or a related field, and a master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior collegiate playing or coaching experience, demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division III and conference rules, and a strong commitment to the Division III philosophy. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
