Olympic College is recruiting for an Assistant Head Coach of Track, Field & Cross Country. This role plays a vital leadership role within the Olympic College Athletic Department and contributes meaningfully to the Division of Student Development and Engagement. This position is responsible for enhancing the student-athlete experience by fostering leadership, discipline, and personal growth, while ensuring the efficient operation of both programs. Through strategic oversight of daily activities—including training, travel, and competition logistics—the Assistant Coach supports the Athletic Director’s broader focus on community engagement, strategic planning, and departmental advancement. This role is instrumental in cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing environment aligned with the college’s commitment to student success and holistic development.

This position has a stipend of $6,000 and is not eligible for benefits upon hire.
Working Conditions
This position requires punctuality and regular attendance. This position is in a typical office environment, but may require the employee to move across campus to other buildings. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position. May be required to lift and carry equipment and supplies of up to 30 pounds.
