Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for having signed contracts on file in the athletic department for every match.

• Responsible for maintaining budget control of their sport.

• Responsible for all equipment assigned to sport.

• Responsible for both the team's practice and competition.

• Responsible for driving or making sure certain that safe drivers are secured.

• Responsible for securing money for travel well in advance to include lodging, meals, and travel.

• Responsible for getting play profiles and accomplishments to the Director of Sports Information.

• Responsible for the conduct of student-athletes, proper dress and conduct while on the road.

• Provide match information to be publicized on the university website and local media outlets.

Additional Details

• The coach will avoid practicing or playing on Sunday.

• The coach will see that transportation is available for travel to all away competition.

• Class attendance by student-athletes should be a priority as schedules are made.
