Assistant Learning Specialist Job Description
Description
The Assistant Learning Specialist will be responsible for a caseload of academically at-risk student-athletes at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes (CCACSA), and will help provide the support necessary to assist student-athletes in reaching their full potential. The CCACSA Assistant Learning Specialist will work in conjunction with Educational Support Services team to provide the necessary support and guidance for students in their charge. The CCACSA Assistant Learning Specialist will complete other administrative duties to be assigned by their manager and must be willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. All employees are expected to comply with all CCACSA, LSU, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
This position will report to the Learning Specialist/Coordinator within Educational Support Services.
Employment Terms:
The Assistant Learning Specialist position is a part-time appointment for a period of one year - July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The position will be paid a competitive hourly rate (based on degree attainment) for time worked, up to 29 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
