Northern State University is accepting applications for a full-time assistant men’s basketball coach. 

Primary duties include on-court coaching and training and recruiting elite student athletes. The assistant coach will assist with all aspects of an NCAA Division II men’s basketball program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching
Assisting with practice and game scheduling
Administration of team budgets
* Promoting and working NSU summer basketball camps
* Developing and maintaining effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media and the community
* Knowledge and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, NSIC, and University rules, regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes

Preferred candidate will have experience with video-editing, game analysis, graphic design, and creating/managing new technology (e.g. social media, video highlights)
* * Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years of coaching or playing experience is required.
