Applications are invited for the part-time Assistant Men's and Women's Diving Coach position at Marywood University. Responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing the diving program at Marywood University. Assists with conducting practices, motivating students, recruiting prospective athletes, creating scouting reports, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques. Also assisting with program advertisement via social media.
Monitor academic progress and the retention of students affiliated with the diving program
Assume responsibility for sportsmanship, conduct, and academic progress of all students and staff affiliated with the diving program
Monitor the conduct of student-athletes to support the image and reputation of the University
Assist in implementing game strategy
Promote the athletic program and specifically diving through attending community events and fundraising
Comply with NCAA, conference, and Marywood University rules, regulations, and policies
Must have an appreciation and understanding of NCAA Division Ill athletic philosophy
Assist in coordinating individual player development workout and strength training
Must possess high integrity, a commitment to excellence, loyalty and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Travel is extensive between team competition and recruiting travel
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
-3 years collegiate coaching experience
