The qualified applicant will report to the Head Coach of Men's & Women's Swimming. This position is a full-time, ten-month position. Preference will be given to applicants who are motivated to help students succeed.
The individual will assist in all phases of the Men's & Women's Swimming program including competition and practice planning (traditional and non-traditional season), mentoring of students, recruitment and development of student-athletes, equipment, contests, social media and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Additionally, a thorough understanding of and accountability to NCAA, NEWMAC, and institutional rules and regulations is necessary.
Interested applicants for this position will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), from an accredited institution, preferably in Physical Education or a related discipline.
Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience and/or experience as a college swimming student-athlete.
A valid driver's license and CPR/AED is required.
Applicants should have a commitment to work in a dynamic work setting with a diverse student population.
