Duties: day-to-day coaching of student athletes; individual skill instruction; recruiting athletic and academically sound, competitive student athletes that can compete on the NCAA Division II level; establishing a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community; follow NCAA, Great American Conference and University rules and regulations; assistance with pre-match preparations to include travel arrangements and player accommodations. Candidate will also assist in community and public relations, promotion of teams within the community, oversight of local practice facilities as well as serving as a positive role model for student athletes. Additional assignments depending on qualifications will be assigned by the Director of Athletics and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; demonstrate evidence of successful experience in coaching; record of success in collegiate and/or interscholastic tennis coaching/competing; excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; interpersonal skills and commitment to total success of students.
