Job Description:
Responsible for coaching, recruiting, scheduling of the University’s intercollegiate Division III baseball program. Teaching activity courses and a second assignment within the Athletic Department is required.
JOB DUTIES:
Serves as Baseball Recruiting Coordinator tasked with attending national baseball events.
Evaluate prospective players and schedule for on campus visits.
Successfully recruits 12-18 players a year in a given recruiting class.
EDUCATION
Required:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
Preferred:
Master's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
1 month coaching experience, preferably at Division III level
Preferred:
3 years to 5 years coaching experience, preferably at Division III level
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Demonstrated effectiveness in the recruitment of student athletes and the instructional aspects of coaching.
Coaching, recruiting, scheduling, fundraising, coordination between admissions, human resources, and business departments for different tasks.
