The prestigious Lehigh University is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Coach-Men's Basketball (Position Number S83910). This exciting opportunity offers the chance to be part of a storied program with a rich tradition of excellence both on and off the court.
As a key member of our coaching staff, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction to all facets of the program. Your responsibilities will encompass sport-specific coaching, recruitment, student-athlete development (including academic support), program administration, and program advancement. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all activities align with the mission of the University, the Department of Athletics, The Patriot League, and the NCAA.
This position is a Grade: 8 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $46,180-$55,420. The duties of the position do not allow for a remote work option; the employee in this position will be required to work on campus where they can be fully accessible to the Lehigh community. This position works with minors and will work a variable shift; Ability to work nights and/or weekends during peak periods. • Recruitment of top talent, including identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes, conducting campus visits, and managing the recruitment process

• Program administration, including budget management, scheduling, and adherence to university, conference, and NCAA policies
• Program advancement through alumni relations, fundraising efforts, and community outreach initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
• Three to five years of related work experience
• Experience as a student athlete
• Proven coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Direct experience with the use of video systems as a tool in the development of athletic skills, and as a means for preparing game plans and tactical strategies
• NCAA Certification required
• CPR/First Aide required
