The Assistant Men’s Basketball coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in planning and coordinating practices and competition for the team. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in maintaining current student athletes and recruiting future student athletes to the program.

• Assist in Designing competitive and safe practices
• Oversee and instruct athletes during practice/competition

Recruiting

• Recruit talented and committed student athletes.

Departmental Duties

• Perform departmental duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of NCAA Rules
• Valid Driver’s license

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

• BS
• CPR/AED certified

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Weekends, early mornings, post- game hours.
