Description

Reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, the Assistant Coach will assist in developing, organizing and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball program. This is a part-time stipend position, paid bi-weekly.

The Assistant Coach must be able to build positive relationships with student-athletes, coaches, staff and campus partners. They will help support the athletic, academic and personal development of the Men’s Basketball team with a commitment to sportsmanship, respect, diversity, equity and inclusion.
The Department of Athletics and Recreation is committed to providing a wide range of activities and services that assist Pratt students of various backgrounds and abilities in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Pratt has an athletics history dating back to the founding of the institution in 1887. Pratt is a proud member of NCAA Division III and competes in the Atlantic East Conference.

Examples of Duties

  • Assist the Head Coach with various aspects of coaching, such as planning and executing practices, video review, opponent scouting, and game planning
  • Recruit prospective student-athletes.
